JOB SUMMARY :
The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing large-scale information technology projects in a multi-hospital healthcare environment. This role requires extensive project management experience, strong leadership skills, and hands-on expertise with OpTime, Cupid, and Radiant implementations.
- Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-level IT projects across multi-hospital systems
- Manage full project lifecycle (SDLC): initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
- Gather and document business and clinical requirements
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, and resources
- Coordinate Epic implementations including OpTime, Cupid, and Radiant modules
- Track and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies
- Provide status reporting to executives and steering committees
- Oversee system design, build, testing (QA/UAT), and go-live activities
- Ensure user training, adoption, and operational readiness
- Support IT governance, compliance, and strategic planning
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (mandatory)
- 6+ years of IT Project Management experience
- Extensive experience managing large-scale, complex projects
- Proven experience in multi-hospital or enterprise healthcare environments
- Strong expertise in SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience with requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and business analysis
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP / PMI certification
- Clinical systems or healthcare-related background
- Experience with Meditech or other EHR platforms
