Business Analyst ||| – Self Service
Job Description
- The Digital Business Analyst will support Self-Service capabilities with primary responsibility for making recommendations that will improve online adoption and customer experiences.
- Collecting and analyzing data to create insights that lead to action.
- Working cross functionally to translate business goals and objectives into product features and user experiences.
- Measuring success and improvements through KPIs and metrics.
- Recommending enhancements to the self-service solutions through continuous analysis and feedback.
- Gathering business requirement gathering, analyzing them and translating them to functional and experiential recommendations.
- Performing data analysis on different data sources, consolidate multiple data sets and analyze the data accurately and efficiently.
- Organizing sessions to gather business context from Product Owners and documenting findings.
- Coordinating with users to determine and document business and user requirements, process flow definitions, and functional specifications
Skills:
- Background in online analytics applications preferably Adobe Analytics is a strong plus
- Able to conceptualize and structure an analysis to achieve the desired business objective.
- Picks up new concepts (e.g. process, policy, data structure) the first time
- Able to appropriately apply statistical methods (e.g. distributions, regressions, probability, sampling).
- Performs internal/external consistency checks.
- Able to shapes requests (e.g. scope and deliverables) with customers to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
- Maintains focus on the end-product.
- Utilizes a hypothesis-driven approach.
- Appropriately utilizes an 80/20 approach to problem-solving
- Sets and refines direction as needed.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
- Able to effectively multi-task and switch contexts.
- Effectively completes goal-oriented assignments with limited supervision.
- Has strong knowledge of up business process and policy concepts in multiple areas (e.g. customer setup and process flows).
- Able to proactively recognize next steps
- Well versed with Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint and pulling together clear, concise, and convincing presentations using mockups, data, and written context.
- Working in an Agile format using JIRA and Confluence to support workflow.
