Roles & Responsibilities:
Support the schematic design from requirements to release.
Support in driving discussions with external vendors and eco-system for Design choice of components, Design reviews, BOM checks and optimization, Identification of alternate components and perform cost analysis.
Support Debug and Triage of Platform issues and provide consultation to the other cross-functional members for any clarification or help required by them on Platform Hardware.
Skills Required:
2+ years of relevant experience.
Experience in board and system design.
Good hands-on experience on schematics entry with ORCAD or similar EDA tool.
Experience with Layout reviews and component placement.
Experience in circuit simulation tools like LT-Spice/PSPICE
Hands on Experience in board bring-up and hardware debugging.
Experience in debugging the embedded systems using JTAGs and Oscilloscopes
BOM scrubbing, cost effective alternative component selection.
